If you’re planning a civil wedding in Frankfurt, the Römer is usually the first place that comes to mind. But a few kilometres further west there’s a spot I personally like even more: the Höchst registry office (Standesamt Höchst), set in the Emmerich Pavilion of the Bolongaro Palace, right on the river Main.
I’ve been there for quite a few ceremonies now, both as a photographer and as a videographer. In this post I’m sharing moments from several of those weddings, and walking you through how a typical day in Höchst goes.
