A January wedding with a winter atmosphere
This winter wedding at JUNGHOF Winery & Restaurant in Mainz took place in January. There was no snow, but the winter feeling was still there — cool air, a light breeze and a calm mood that shaped the entire day.
Getting ready at the winery
The couple got ready directly at the venue. This made the start of the day relaxed and unhurried. The rooms at the winery offered a warm and quiet setting, perfect for these first moments.
First look in the courtyard
The first look took place in the courtyard of the winery. We waited until the weather allowed it and the guests had arrived. This created a calm and personal moment before the ceremony began.
Photos inside the main hall
After the first look, we took photos inside the main hall. The interior worked beautifully for a winter wedding and allowed for natural, timeless images.
Festive entrance and ceremony with Iranian traditions
The ceremony began with a festive entrance of the couple. Alongside the usual vows, Iranian traditions were included. A cloth was held above the couple, and sugar or salt was gently sprinkled as part of the ritual, adding cultural meaning and emotion to the ceremony.
Congratulations, dinner and celebration
After the ceremony, guests congratulated the couple with hugs and kind words. Dinner followed, and later the celebration continued with a DJ and dancing.
Sparkler group photo and cake cutting
A group photo with sparklers created a warm and joyful moment before the cake cutting. The evening combined winter calm with lively celebration, making it a memorable wedding day.
